Alone but not lonely

"All we have is the company and feedback of our loved ones."

Yes, to enjoy being alone is a powerful skill, and doing things by yourself is important, and to not require the strict presence of others in your life to maintain a baseline degree of happiness; but having people alongside you sure helps!

What I mean is that being alone some time is fine, but being lonely is not.

You may not need company all the time, but even less so no company ever.

Do not isolate yourself from the world, since the world is the only place to live in.

Existing somewhere else is possible, but could that be called life? Not having anyone to share existence with? It seems rather dull, honestly.

Yes, “the most important conversation is the one you have with yourself”, but it becomes unbearable when that is the only conversation.

All we have is the company and feedback of our loved ones.

“Making it“ is important, but more so is having a soul left for when you actually do make it, to have people to share success with.

There is no meaning in creating a masterpiece for no one to appreciate.

Who cares about degrees? Who cares about cars? Who cares about anything if there is nobody to share life with?

Do not spend endless hours, much less all, pursuing meaningless activities. And, by meaningless I mean something that has no possibility of making someone else’s life better.

That’s why we’re here for, after all; making the life of those alongside and after us better, noticeably so. Provide for your familiy, enrich the world with insights and ideas, be kind, stand up for freedom and that which you believe in, etc.

Anything that does not contribute to this end is devoid of value.

It is disrespectful not to engage in the search for better ways of living and how to make that materialize; it is disrespectful to our entre bloodline.

And how to live is in society, with others. Work alone? Go ahead. Exist completely alone? That is too selfish an attitude…
